Dream Wedding-Why Love Wins and Cancer Doesn’t

This is an awesome story about family, friends, and community rallying together to give an awesome man, Nolan Keane, and his high school sweetheart, Morgan Carstens, wedding and honeymoon. They are only 28 and 26 respectively, but are BOTH fighting brain cancer together with courage, despite the fact that Keane is the only one with the diagnosis. He was diagnosed in 2008 and only given a year to live, but had a fighting spirit that left him determined to battle hard. It’s been four years, and clearly he’s fought hard. When he was diagnosed, Carstens moved in with his family to help care for him…and last year on a family trip to Disney World (Keane’s favorite place) he proposed. Marrying Carstens is his final wish. And of course, they will be honeymooning at Disney World thanks to generous donations.

Ladies and gentleman, this is a true example of why love is beautiful and cancer never truly wins.

  1. cancer never wins, not ever. after my battle with 2 types of cancers
and chemotherapy in 2010 i started saying ….. I have cancer, cancer does not have me….such a simple statement, simple sentence, yet so true and powerful for all of us fighting the battle. stay strong and know you have a lot of soldiers fighting for you all

Tell me what you're thinking!
